I’m Abigail Marin, an undergraduate student pursuing a double major in Political Science and Hispanic Studies with a minor in Journalism. My work as a writer centers on news and feature articles that explore topics ranging from social, and political issues to entertainment, with a strong focus on campus reporting that reflects the DePauw and Greencastle, Indiana community. Through my journalism, I aim to highlight stories that inform, represent, and uplift both my peers and the broader public. I plan to continue my education in law school, where I hope to become an immigration Lawyer and seek to expand social justice.

I enjoy being involved in campus, and volunteering which has inspired many of my articles. I am currently proud to announce my biggest achievements as a cheerleader, and student I was able to carry on leadership opportunities as Community Fund Chair for Bonner, and Alumni Chair for Concerns for Latinx communities and carry these positions for next school year as well. I was also able to complete 280 hours of volunteering. I was also able to maintain my partnership, and become an ambassador and creative directer of Soalla Jewels.
